Ground up new construction and sitework package for the Aloft/Element Hotel in Tampa, Florida. The structure is six stories of block and plank over steel on the first level. The seven-story, 226 key hotel is a Marriott dual brand property that serves as the hospitality component of the much publicized Midtown Tampa mixed-use project. The project had an aggressive schedule, which was met, in order to open for the Super Bowl. The hotel has a fabulous top level which includes full-height glass walled prefunction and flexible meeting space, restaurant, indoor/outdoor bar, and pool. The project also features a fitness center, and on the street level, a jump lobby for the hotel and 24,000 sq. ft. of retail space.
