Kellogg & Kimsey delivered this 95-key, 5-story, ground-up boutique hotel in the heart of Sarasota's Downtown Arts District. The 83,958-square-foot, Art Deco-style mid-rise carries its setting into the guest experience, with tranquil murals of local scenery gracing the luxury guest rooms and 12 suites. The contemporary design includes a 24-hour fitness center, hot and cold spa-inspired wading pools, and the on-site H2O Bistro restaurant and bar, sourced from local family farms and markets. Business travelers are served by 1,200 square feet of flexible meeting space for up to 50 guests, an executive boardroom for 10, two additional meeting rooms, and an on-site business center. Beneath it all sits the hotel's most distinctive engineering feat: the only underground parking garage ever built in the city, protected by an engineered water removal system that maintains proper hydrostatic pressure on the garage floor slab, all delivered on a tight urban site with zero lot lines.
