Over more than two decades, Kellogg & Kimsey delivered a national program of more than 135 projects for Barnes & Noble, building, outfitting, and renovating the retailer's bookstores in major cities across the United States. The work spanned ground-up new construction, tenant fit-outs, and full renovations, ranging from one- to two-story stores complete with interior cafés, reading nooks, checkout areas, shipping and receiving, restrooms, and staff break rooms. Working hand-in-hand with the retailer across every major market, Kellogg & Kimsey became a trusted long-term partner in shaping the in-store experience that defined the bookseller for a generation, a relationship that continued until Barnes & Noble reimagined its footprint to meet a market reshaped by technology and changing reader habits.
